It was getting darker so I changed the composition of my next photograph and held the exposure open for 45 seconds and captured the photo below. Since it was Winter, this photo reminds me of the Christmas star over Bethlehem!

It was cold and my hands were going numb. The rest of our family was back at our rooms at Ruby's Inn, so we decided to call it a day. I had brought along my laptop computer on this trip, so we were able to view the photos when we returned.
The next morning we woke up early to capture photos of the sunrise.
Suggestions:
1. Plan out your photo ops by checking sunset / dust times.
2. So you don't have to travel far to reach the rim of Bryce Canyon, we recommend staying at Ruby's Inn .
3. Dress warm for the season and check the weather forecast.
4. Bring your camera to take some great pictures.
