The best Park City Lodging for Skiing/Snowboarding is at the Canyons... Rejuvenate in your home-away-from-home at the Grand Summit Hotel !

As far as Park City lodging, we fell in love with the Grand Summit Hotel (the only ski-in / ski-out property) at the Canyons Resort in Park City.  Let me briefly explain the benefits of staying here by describing the alternative...

I just returned from Brighton Ski Resort after a day of skiing.  And, how do I wish we were instead staying at this 4 star rated hotel.  The convenience of walking out to the ski lift from the hotel...  Wow!  This is the way to do a ski vacation to perfection...

Today, it seemed like we spent most of our time traveling to the resort, finding a spot in the parking lot, walking a half mile in ski boots from the parking lot to then wait in line to get our tickets.  Then, wait in another line to rent skis and boots for my cousin's daughter.  Of course we had to do the reverse when we left.  This is not what you want to do on your vacation. 

A better plan!  Stay at Park City lodging, like the Grand Summit Hotel at the Canyons Resort.  Make sure you get our favorite room with the humungous Jacuzzi tub. 

In the morning, you’ll be first up the mountain to ski the freshly fallen snow.  When you get tired, ski back to the hotel to take a break in your home-away-from-home.  Grab a snack from your kitchen or get a bite to eat at one of the restaurants. 

At the end of the day, instead of driving back to a motel in Salt Lake Valley...  you will be soaking your bones in that big Jacuzzi tub.  Or, take a swim in the heated pool (open all year round) as snow flakes continue to fall.  Then find some night life activities at the resort or downtown Park City. 

Suggestions:

1.  Get the room with the big Jacuzzi tub.

2.  Spend a day shopping at Downtown Park City.

3.  Spend a Night on the town at Downtown Park City.
