Moab is the ultimate destination for extreme outdoor adventures for adrenalin-junkies.  Hiking to unbelievable vistas...  Excellent off-road adventures in a jeep or hummer you can rent in town...  Colorado river rafting of level III to IV rapids...  Mountain biking in the Mecca of the sport...  Rock climbing, mountaineering, canyoneering...

"Utah is bad to the bone!", is the way one young man described his vacation in Moab, Utah. 

We highly recommend Moab as a vacation destination, too...  In fact, make this a yearly event!  Play in the great outdoors...  Sleep in a downtown motel, rental cabin, tent, or RV camper.

Of all the towns in Utah, Moab feels a bit foreign (to most Utahns).  It is the Mecca to mountain bikers around the world and that is probably why it has a more "lively" atmosphere.

If you are staying in one of the Moab Utah Hotels then you must make the trip to see Arches National Park
Delicate Arch at Arches National Park is a must see and touch (3-mile round trip hike).

My ten year old daughter mentioned the other day that our trip to Goblin Valley was her favorite vacation other than going to amusement parks.
